Yong Zhao is an internationally recognised scholar whose work focuses on the implications of globalisation and technology on education. As a Mitchell adviser his focus is on the implications of globalisation and technology on education.
Yong is Foundation Distinguished Professor in the School of Education at the University of Kansas. He has designed schools that cultivate global competence, developed computer games for language learning, and founded research and development institutions to explore innovative education models.
