Mary Jo Andow believes that an equitable society and strong economy depend on evidence-based policy decisions across the education spectrum.
Prior to joining Mitchell in 2018, Mary worked as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Premier of New Brunswick, Canada. There her work focused on education policy, with a special emphasis on removing barriers to early learning and accessing post-secondary study and training. She is an advocate for universal access to quality early education and care as a tool to break cycles of poverty and provide the foundation for future success.
Mary has completed Bachelor degrees in Education and in English and Gender Studies. She also holds a MBA from the University of New Brunswick.
