Kate is passionate about tackling complex public policy challenges and building a more inclusive and equitable future for young people. At Mitchell, Kate works across education policy areas from early childhood through to supporting young people’s transitions into employment. Her work has highlighted key policy priorities for lifting the quality of early learning in Australia and for preparing today’s young people for the future of work. 

Prior to Mitchell, Kate worked in government as a Project Officer at the Victorian Department of Education, and while completing her Master’s in International Relations she had an intern posting at the Australian Trade Commission in Paris. She has also completed a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce at Melbourne University.
